The New Year - and One Special Memo

In my approximately quarter century on this earth, I've created many memories, but only a few have the ability to bring tears of joy to my eyes, and I'd like to mention one here. Exactly one year ago today, January 4, 2006, the Texas Longhorns beat USC to win the national championship of college football. Of course, I was in attendence, and I still think about that game every day. It is something I will tell my kids about one day. I'll show them the dvd, everything.

Ok, that's out of the way. Now on to new year's shit.

I trekked it out to Orlando with Ron Jones and Strongarm Simpson to celebrate the new year. It was wild. We drank like there was no tomorrow. I made out with a girl from, of all places, Wisconsin, a red state (translation: Republican), which was a personal victory for me. Ron blacked out. Strongarm smoked a black, then puked all day the next day. It was classic. The preliminary plans for next new year's eve is to spend it in Los Angeles.

As no new year recap would be complete without mention of some goals for 2007, I shall mention them here. In 2007, I will:

• get my abs back
• get a full time job offer
• go to las vegas
• go to the caribbean
• start dating again
• reach 160 lbs in weight (currently 144)
• take better care of my skin

Yep, thats what's gonna happen. I think this will be a good year. I'm looking forward to continuing to meet people in my MBA class, and to enjoy all that comes my way. Happy New Year everyone! Let's have fun in 2007.
